The Golden Goose Entertains
It has been a an incredible journey. No one could have guessed that scrambling an egg inside of the shell would capture the imagination of so many!
Today is the Golden Goose’s crowd-funding anniversary, and we wanted to share a summary of some of the biggest highlight from the past year.

Goose debuts the Golden Goose Gadget at the 2015 International Housewares Show in Chicago, and receives an Award!
The Golden Goose – A Kickstarter Success!
The Golden Goose is a clever kitchen gadget that scrambled an egg inside of its shell using centrifugal force. Our Kickstarter campaign became a huge success, and The Golden Goose was born as our first in-house product development project. We have several new product line extensions in the works, and are growing the new division of our company under a newly established ‘Goose’ brand name! The Project TRGR RFID enabled Bullet Control: a design solution for reducing gun violence is a design solution for reducing gun violence by applying RFID tags to bullet casings during the manufacturing process. It was created to revolutionize the gun debate by addressing both sides: protection of the constitutional right to bear arms and curbing gun violence in both public and private spaces.
Started in 1980 by IDSA, the International Design Excellence Awards program (IDEA®) fosters business and public understanding about the impact of design excellence on the quality of life and the economy. The IDEA program is considered one of the most preeminent design competitions in the nation with its scope and influence reaching far beyond U.S. boundaries.
Featured in Time Out Chicago
Y Line Design was featured in TimeOut Chicago for an entrepreneurial project currently in development. Y Line Design partnered to create a whimsical table lamp in the shape of a sheep. The unique lighting solution casts a subtle shadow of a wolf, and is designed to be enjoyed as a lighting product and artistic statement. The lamp is vacuum formed acrylic, featuring an aluminum harness and mask assembly to cast a variety of wolf poses.
Our work has merited a range of awards from ADEX. Awards for Design Excellence and is the largest and most prestigious awards program for product & project design in the A&D industry.
